What is the Rental Process?
Reserve/book your favorite ride directly on our website. Full Payment must be made to reserve your bike. When you arrive at the shop (Please try to arrive 15-30 min ahead of your rental period) we will make a copy of you license, verify your motorcycle “M” endorsement, if required. You will also be required to register and pay the $35 daily rate for motorcycle insurance. To expedite checkout on ride day, you can visit https://mbainsurance.net/motorcycle/ within 7 days of your rental period to pay ahead for the insurance.
What is Included with a rental?
Your rental includes rental half helmets for both rider and passenger, 24 hours on the motorcycle and 400 miles! 3 days or more have unlimited mileage. Gloves, full-face helmets, leather jackets and other riding gear will be available for rental or purchase. A $35/day charge for insurance must be paid separately via MBA insurance. Picking up, dropping off & parking
When you arrive to pick up your motorcycle, we will have a little bit of paperwork to go over and sign. After we’ve signed the rental agreements and contracts, together we will walk around the motorcycle, teaching you all about the particular model you’ve selected, and marking down damages and mileage. We can gladly provide you with some great Tahoe area routes on a motorcycle, and we are more than happy to take a few pictures of you on your dream motorcycle before you take off!
Upon your return, we love hearing the stories and seeing any pictures of where you took our beautiful motorcycles. We will together do another walk around the motorcycle double checking for any damages that may have occurred. Fuel tank must be refilled or pre-paid.
Parking is very limited at Rolling Freedom Motorcycles. If you plan to park a vehicle during your rental period, free parking is available across the street in the Douglas County public garage.
